My name is Justin Layton, my friend Andrew Secor and I will be carrying a 12X6 foot cross where ever God leads with the purpose of proclaiming the gospel of Jesus the Christ to both the unbeliever and the lukewarm church. My brother Paul began this ministry after being impacted by the life and ministry of Arthur Blessitt who has been carrying a cross through every country on earth for over 30 years (and he's still going!). Arthur holds the record for worlds longest walk ever, and he did it with a life sized cross, preaching the gospel everywhere he went! Click Arthur's banner below to go to his website. We will be continuing with the crosswalk my brother began. Paul walked the first long journey alone from central Florida to Alabama, then I walked with him through Alabama. All in all, the cross has been carried over 600 miles, proclaiming God's plan of salvation through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus to thousands of people! This is a full time ministry for us, we have no agenda but to present our lives as living sacrifices to our Lord and to do the work of His eternal kingdom. We depend on Him for everything and have no church or denomination funding the ministry. We don't ask people for money, we survive because God puts it on peoples hearts to stop their cars along the way and contribute drinks, money, food, prayer or what ever else we need to keep going. Praise God! Please click the links below to read more about this ministry or to see some photos, and if you see us walking, stop and say hi or honk your horn in support!
